Legalize Love

Late Friday night, New York became the sixth state to legalize same-sex marriage. Two days later, it's the Gay Pride Parade, one of the city's biggest celebrations, and this party just got a lot more exciting. New York City estimates that an additional one million people will fill the streets today to show the world what it means to love and accept each and every person, equally. My heart is soaring after Friday's announcement and I can't wait to hear the love stories of so many millions of couples who can now make their commitment a reality. Marriage by no means defines the strength of a relationship, but damn, it must feel good to be able to put a ring on it.

Jonesing in June

In the last few weeks, New York has transformed into the city of summer. Temperatures and hemlines are climbing, air conditioning is blasting, and sunscreen and sunglasses are a must. Here are a few things I'm all about on this beautiful Saturday.
